crazy for that kind of riding...don't usually see hardcore freeriding on boxxers. most people think of boxxers as more of a DH fork

the boxxers may have been portrayed as a "just DH fork" but surely they're as strong and lighter, with more travel than say the lyrics....which are freeride specific

why does it need to be a competition? You ride this, you ride that, it's all good. They're just bikes at the end of the day. Perhaps the problem is that you're too willing to segregate riders into being this or that type. Have you seen Romanuk ride DH? He's not "too slow to race". Just because you say "I ride DH, I go fast, and therefore I am faster than FRs and superior to them" it doesn't make it true. Im not trying to argue, I am just saying that your idea doesn't really make sense.

Raak if you're paid to ride a bike as Romaniuk is, I want to see him earn the $ he gets. I think its pathetic the way he fannies about telling everyone
"some days I don't even feel like riding"
f*ck off, get a proper job, if you want some respect, get training enter a race and kick my ass. The guy has talent sure, so why is he wasting it and why is he paid more than me.

Like most freeriders he is a shameless self promoter and spouts a load of crap like
"mountain biking sets me free, its life, freedom, blah blah blah"
I'd rather see the money I spend on Helly Hansen gear, Monster Energy and specialized go to up and coming racers than for some freerider to go on a roadtrip and have his ego massaged.

Obviously I'd love to do what he's doing but I'd get bored just being a layabout and having no real focus. When you race you can have just as much fun but see yourself progressing and really enjoy the banter of a day with like minded racers
