Shiver DC USD Fork.2x HSCV
then when you turn the fork deflecting over the uneven terrain with give you tons of feed back on the handle bars and will make your front end all squerly... inverted fork never gets as much stiffness as a conventional fork. Thats due to the lac of the third crown or arch on the lower of the fork.
224 seconds of that view gets hard to follow but nice anyways
P.S. your tire is as bald as my dads head lol

Congratulations -- Shiver now is a street-trail fork
Youre lucky you're the owner of Shiver.
HSCW cartridge ROCKS!!! I have Monster T 2005. Haven't tested it yet, but i'm sure it'll perform great.

yeah, i bought a pair of 4xwc and the seals have gone already, got the new 55s, rebound cartridge snapped 3 times, just doing light freeride, considering fox 36's
Have you removed one of the coil springs? Because mine works the same and i did remove one spring to accomodate my weight (65kg). The Marzocchi Shiver had a place in mountain bike history, it was, is and will be the best fork out there, because boys will be boys, and boys want big toys to play with, just what the Shiver offers.
I didin't removed coil spring. I ride on both. I weight 85 kg and it works that at standart springs. I agree , shiver is a legend.
can't believe no one has said this yet but your running your cable on the wrong side of the guard. Your supposed to run it on the inside up to the little clip for the cable.
Works MUCH better, fatigues the cable at the caliper less also.
Looks good. Don't listen to that guy about the spring.... he is a complete moron. Hes basically over stressing one entire leg, and will cause failure in the leg with the spring as it will be working and stressing twice as hard.
I'll run my shiver any day over my 888's. I was just on phone with marz today sourcing more parts. Seems like the ones of us who love em should start buying used pairs for parts. I'm definitely still thinking about a set of avy dhf 7's to replace my shiv's with if I don't find another set for backup.

Well, did you ever ridden a shiver ?
yes theres is a flex, but who cares? i have on my bike a 2001 shiver. and i can tell, i dont even feel that flex anymore, at first its a little bit strange, but after an hour you dont even notice...
and tell me, what are the disadvantage youll get with a flexing fork like those ?
cause i cant see any.

I ride everywhere on my dh bike including around the city. So what if he is riding in the city. I bet he does more trail time than you. I know I probably do.
I have a pair of these for sale as I am at uni and am unable to ride really. There in good condition. If you are interested email me on N0204009@ntu.ac.uk. Cheers Tom
Bring the bike to real terrain.
Can't see noting but a not enoughly preloaded fork on boring flat ground.
Moves nice though.
