Dude, u better book your place at A&E if you try that again. U got no rotation at all, imagine if you went half way round, you would have landed on your head..... broken neck... collar bones, shoulders, it would have been messy.. If you cant build a big foam pit, get aload of foam, or aload of old bed mattrasess and build a landing out of them, cover it is carpet, and you've got jump that will allow you to make mistakes.

man i learned them on dirt at first to, just get a jump with alot of lip to it and its alot easier then work your way up,
this is one of my firsts and try to get a lip simalar to this one

two words for this guy - FOAM PIT. learn it in a pit and you'll send one once you get the feel for it. All you need to pull a backflip is, firstly, a foam pit and then a decent jump and a very real desire to pull one.

he wasn't going to break his neck on a jump like that. you people gotta realize the flip is a total mind over matter trick. once you can convince your self your capable of one you try it, and it does take awhile for your body to learn to spin for it especially when there are no foam pits to practice in. if you don't have one you gotta make sure you can spin it fast and smooth. Tramp biking's another idea for you. and its a lot less space demanding. the only people i know with foam pits live on farms and have a shit load of land to build them you cant just build f*cking foam pit any where in the woods people will wreck the shit out of it then your down 700 dollars
