bmx is better for tricks mtb is better for drops.(bmx is easier to learn shit and its looks sick) watch Chase Deharts, dakota roche, eddie cleveland, mike miller videos on youtube you'll see what i mean

umm, mountain biking may be harder to learn but its safer and the tricks look allot better, allthough it really depends on the person, im six foot six so i ride a mountain bike, i can three sixty on flatground, and the breaks open up a whole new genre of tricks, grinds are often dangerous. breaks are like a safty cable, bmx does not have good breaks. but the easyest and safest bike to learn tricks on has gotta be the mod.

Bmx and mtb are the same thing, style is all about the person. both bikes are easy to learn things, it's just matter which one the rider perfers to start with. once you get use to the feel of your bike. the fun tricks start to kick in

i used to ride mtb but learning shit on them is so hard! i was trying hop spins on my mtb for ages then i got on a bmx and i did like straight away

but mtb and bmx can be both super stylish just depends what your into but ride bmx saves you loads of money on wheels trust me!

i think bmx is better you can get pegs for like 20 bucks and with them you can have lots of different tricks and combinations, now when i see granite ledges i think feeble, smith, ice pick, tooth pick, overpick, etc etc and those tricks are only with pegs lots more cool stuff too, plus bmx have strong components and if you fall your bike wont break, mtb's have derialleurs whick break sooo easily

i learn them from a bank to wall and just going at it at angle and hoping and leaning your bike way from the wall, then your get use to the feel of it, and you could just hop on to walls on flat ground. its scary, and might take a lot of trys but once you get them, they're on of the funnest tricks
