Clay Pigeons: First Edit Preview
This is what happens when you're out of work with nothing to do but build and ride trails. I've fancied having a go at some moving imagery for quite a while so now I've got the time I went out armed with nothing but my bike and my Nokia N95 mobile and shot this using only nature for support: wedged between branches, resting on the ground, or stood on a tree stump, etc.

Your riding skill and style has leapt forward riding in Whistler, not that there's anything wrong with your riding in this vid (nice little vid by the way), but compared to you hitting the trails in your Whistler chest cam vid, it's amazing. Would love to spend a season in the mountains to really hone my skills. The odd week in the Alps just doesn't cut it, need months out there!!! :-)
Filmed and edited by, and starring, yours truly.
For reference, the filming process goes something like:
1. Balance camera precariously in a tree
2. Press record, hope phone doesn't fall out said tree
3. Go get bike, put helmet on, etc
4. Push up trail
5. Ride down, trying to look fast
6. Crash
7. Push up trail *again*
8. Ride down again, this time staying on
9. Retrieve phone
10. Review footage: pray it's good enough and doesn't have to be re-done
11a. If not, go to 1.
11b. If it is, move on to next 2 second snippet of one-minute trail
12. Run out of memory space
13. Delete some porn
14. Run out of battery
15. Swear lots, throw rattle out pram, go home
Did anyone notice the double relevance of the selected music track?
