Rainbow was a classic kids show. 12.10 every weekday lunchtime. Most people on here were only just born when this was on the go.

It was an ITV programme. You never really thought about it as a kid, but looking back it was a bit odd; a grown man living with a talking bear, a pink hippo and some creature with a zip on it's mouth. Then there was Rod, Jane and Freddy, who just turned up and sang songs, but they were always together. All in all a strange programme when you look back at it. Someone was smoking something when they came up with it.
