nope not a strap, it has a sticky thing you put on the helmet then the camera clips onto that

yeah, on there site it says 3M base plate. so does it use those 3M pull tab things that come off easy so you dont have to have it stuck to your helmet all the time?

the 3m thing is pretty much permanent on the helmet but its not big or anything so its not a big deal

nah, i like the quality of this better if you look at my most recent video (mt snow race #1) i put a hd memory stick in it, i think the quality is a little better, its a Go Pro Helmet cam, i like it a lot more then the vholdr

helmet moves.... but the camera is attached to it, giving it the affect i guess you could call it that the helmet doesnt move when acualy it is
