that looks sick! Your Vid is gonna be great, you should have diffrent sections like dh, fr, dj, and what ever you wanna do
Riding wasn't that good. I wouldn't pay to watch an Hour of that to be honest.. and I thought trailers showed the best bits?
by far not VOD worthy. i agree with andy-M i dont think many people will pay to watch it. at least after they have watched that trailer
nice trailer, great banghra music! thats something different to all these lame emo stuff in this times.
way too many fades, all cut different lengths which was somewhat sloppy. dolly shots werent subtle enough imo and didnt blend too well. despite what other people are saying, the riding looked ok to me - you just didnt really showcase it very well with all the slomo and generic filming angles.

Listen peeps, this is not a movie that is going to be on the market it is made by a bunch of local guys i ride with and they just wanted to make a cool movie, it is not made by a professional studio but just 6 sixteen year old kids so enjoy it and

why is every vod a down hill video there are more styles of rideing other then dh!!!!!!!!!

Here it is. It probably didn't deserve VOD necessarily, but it was still a good job filming, and there were some cool shots. The riders weren't anything special, but they don't always need to be the best riders in the world to be in a vid. I am not a big fan of the Indian music though, sorry. Maybe put some more exciting music would make it look better?? Anyway I don't think this video deserves to get ripped up like it is ^^^^^^, it was well done and props for making your own movie and making your own effects.

My advice would be to take all comments with a grain of salt and learn from them. You can decide for yourself what is good and what is not so good, but if you are releasing things for public consumption like you did here on Pinkbike, people will give you their opinions which at times are very hard to take.
There is something to be learned from almost any comment that you receive, so use this as a tool for improvement.
Personally, I liked the filming and most of the editing. The riding needs to be turned up a little or different angles to make it seem more interesting.

i have read over every comment and none have surprised me (ok, maybe a few *cough* OliScale)...
i never expected this to get VOD (i edited it 3 days ago at like 2 in the morning) so it really caught me off gaurd...
we have a lot more aggressive and fast trails and stunts planned, everyone just has to give me some time

haha just remember, on Pinkbike, everyone's a critic. You wouldn't get half of those nasty comments if this didn't make VOD. It's a tight combo of good filming editing, all around good vid, but once it isn't as good as the VOD the previous day, look out! Anyway, listen to bobrocket and you're set. Good Luck Man.

Its well done..... Its tough though with movies the the Collective films out there the bar is so high. I was def bored through that. Try some more creative angles, and I would like to see some impressive stunts???
i will keep that in mind for the rest of the filming... we have only had a few days to shoot and plan to get some bigger stunts in...

I suggest that you finish the film first, and then name it. Just like naming a new trail....something will come up.

Really not that greater vod. Had mediocre riding, non-original camera shots an was about as memorable as carrot
ok, you have sick bikes with over 200mm travel front suspension, but you are doing trails and jumps that an apollo could easily handle. Why spend loads of money on your bikes when the trails and jumps you do could be handled by a bike less than $500?

im srry but it kinda felt like a disapointment...but you all gota start somewhere and at least ur in a video.
Never mind the harsh criticisms fellas. That crap comes out for every video not made by professionals. Perhaps it wasn't VOD quality, but it is a great effort. I really like your innovation with the cam dolly. All today's professionals were 16 year old kids once.
not really diging this nothing i havent seen before and editing wasent that great and turthfully i f*cken hated that music!
Ok not VOD worthy but so what it got VOD in the end and even the producer said it wasnt the best, flowed really well and good scenary.

uhm have not been on pinkbike in a long time as i remember VOD's they were A LOT better than this....

its yarnball you would get it if you knew me its an inside joke kinda. not really my last name is yarn soo yarn...anyways. yea i knoww im just kinda gettin tired of dh vod's. latly pinkbike has been getting better tho but we had a month strait of nothing but dh vods and i was about ready to punch someone becuase i found it ... annoying. it was like pinkbike would only acknowledge dh as a style of rideing when there are so many other style it was actully very ignorant what pinkbike did by only posting dh vods.
that was my way of saying "enough with the dh vods i think we have seen enough of them already".
