Being sponsored is not just about having a name on your Jersey, there are lot things behind it and a lot of responsibilities. The bigger the sponsor, and the bigger the headache.

yes but he quotes about a working relation ship with his sponcors, like thomas vander ham and shimano testing new equippment and such, if u ask me being sponcored by subaru is just advertising

you have a good point, but what I meant by responsibilities is that when you are sponsored, you are working for that company. In other other words, you a representant for that company. When he mentioned that he wants a better relationship between athletes and sponsors, he meant so sponsors wouldn't treat athletes as mere objects.

aye, but its just money at the end of the day the sponcors only want there money well invested even if there biking related, but then again if they weren't like that they wouldn't be in buisness long
