When you actually ride this line you see how flat that wood landing is. From the chair it doesn't even look like the same feature, thinking about how hard he landed is uncomfortable when you see it with your own eyes.

Higher up his front wheel gets into a rut in the rock sending his weight forward as he goes off the drop. Unfortunately he then lands front wheel first with all his weight over the fork into the lip of the wood bridge with the bars slightly turned. Wheel folds he goes.

Bad crash but that's DH.

I would have thought that they would have checked if he had a spinal or neck injury before they moved him. That is pretty bad first aid. They could have made his injury much worse. I hope he was allright.
