thanks for the call!
6:30am - I was at the top at 7:15am. Nobody likes riding with me that early. Sorry Dave, next time I'll give you the courtesy call.
Signage isn't bad. You just need to look at the trees near the trail heads. Not a place I'd ride solo without first getting a tour. There are a lot of unmarked trails that you can easily get side tracked on.
Wicked loamy flow there though.

signage is almost non existant... some of the trails have signs, but you cant see the signs from the road up. Lots of dead end trails so you cant just assume that a trail is in fact a full trail and most of the classic trails don't have a sign. Also very likely you won't see anyone all day. That being said burke rocks.
What kinda of mount did you use?? Duct-tape?? That camera is a "point-n-shoot" style of camera, right? Nice vid though...Burke is an excellent playground!!
I made a mount with aluminum that attaches to my helmet with a strap.
Point and shoot cameras a substantially better than almost anything out there.
1- they have optical image stabilization.
2- they can shoot in HD
3- the lenses and auto focus and zoom and sound on them is far better than most other options
4- run time and easy of charging is better
5- they can take great photos
6- they are cheap
7- many options are water, dust and shock proof
If you think outside the box and adapt a few things to make improvements you end up with a better product and better results.
Go-Pro, VHoldr, Vio and other cameras are okay, but they cost more and don't give as good a picture or performance as a small point and shoot. All you really need to do is mount it firmly on your helmet.
