its a proper mini dv camera attached to an old full face helmet, fish eye adapter too. its heavy and hard to ride with!!

nwfr24, i live in southwest england, we dont have much in the way of steeps, we're not allowed to build on this land as it is private and natural tracks is all that can be done... the fisheye will have got rid of a lot of the steepness of the trail which isnt steep in the first place. the whole point of riding it is to have fun and be out on the bike, and there plenty of people around here that wont ride this trail. as for the riding, its me riding, im a photographer, not a pro rider, so im not fussed that no-one is commenting on my skills. but thanks for watching it!

your right, i live in the south west too and anyway flatter tracks keep you fit Smile

i realy liked the film, it had a good style and was well edited, and if you do feel like some 'steeps' come ride the mendip's

you are gay you are an american and have quite a large population meaning a larger percentage are no doubt mountainbikers meaning more people to build and more people to persuade councils to build trails which we dont have here and not only do you have a large population the population happen to be very large also

that trail looks fun to ride forget about wat nwfr34 says. yea slops r cool n speed is fun. but going on some relaxing trails is so rewarding. just relaxs you so much and you can just shred n have fun. cause thats all biking is about. having fun. + hes amaerican so it automatically rules him out as a f*g hahaha. so he has no authority watsoever to talk Smile

.... make some more vids so i can watch them man!

hi i was just wondering whereabouts on the quantocks that was as ive ridden there before and found some cool stuff but never a good run like that. a start and finish point would be great but i understand if u don't want to dislose the location.

cool vid. looks similar to the Atherton brothers section in Earthed 5. oh yeah also, its numb nuts like "nwfr24" above that give Americans a bad rep. he's just one of those little punk snowboarder or skiers from Bend, Or. who think their gods gift to anything, and that people give a crap what some dumb little punk teenager thinks. it takes more skill to rip a tight windy trail and keep speed than to jump little mounds of dirt all day long.

cool head cam action.
i love that trail it rocks. do you ever ride the right hand bend in the trees?
thats sweet to.
all the trails up there are well fun.
good one for filming it.
i have a similar movie on mendip, made it the day before my son was born.
so it was for him really.
you can check it out on my page under my movies, called mendip majik 52.17 although i now hit it at 45 seconds on a good run. there are two versions but one is better quality than the other. i filmed it one my canon g9 on a cold dry day.

sweet vid i liked it and the camra was soo clear i had a idea for a helmat cam but idk if it wold work. If youd take a old fullface and cut out a littal bit of the pading and put the camara in ther but i dont know if it wold work just puting out a idea. srry if i spellt any thing wrong.

people are saying it was slow? it looked pretty respectable to me! why dont you people all try riding a mild gradient with your bars inches away from trees either side in mossy woodland? liking the vid and the trail, looks like a good wee burn, maybe i shouldnt be so pessimistic about my trail future trails being too flat... Smile
