The Kick Bike, Run Bike or Balance Bike teaches a child proper balance/body placement while riding. For instance, training wheels teaches a kid to lean out of a turn instead of bank inward with gravity, when you take away training wheels the child has to learn all over again, teaches really bad habits and those are hard to break. My little girl started on a Kick Bike at about 1.5, this year (3) she jumped on a pedal bike and rode away in seconds, no trainers ever needed, she still uses her Kick Bike for trail riding - still learning the nuances of body placement on uneven ground, drops, etc.

im not saying i dont agree with the idea .. what your saying makes sense .. but that kid clearly can ride an actual bike with pedals and no training wheels . he might not be able to do 5ft drops and 360s anymore which would make the videos less entertaining. but im sure he would be a lot better than the average kid his age. and his body would take less of a beating

personally i think those things should have pegs cause it dont teach them balance it teaches them to rely on their feet ! its stupid, the ones wiht pegs are cool tho !

its so easy with no pedals and crank i mean any 5year old can push up and drop i mean i was 5 and i was rolling with pedals and doing some homemade jumps.. so i dont find anything special about him but still a nice vid keep it up
