This is a video I made to enter a video contest. Kids, if you're looking for triple backflips and gangsigns look elsewhere, cuz this is about my level of riding where i like to ride.
I like this VOD. It's to have riding that not super gnar riding and have a video that makes you want to get a group of friends to go riding with. Have a whistler sesh and hit the local trails, which happens some in this video(woodlot) !

I have to say this is the sickest and most truthful story about mountain biking and the way everything has progressed the sport and this shows that. You have my vote and btw props on that huge drop
The single most awesome video on PinkBike. Makes me want to go ride, NOW!
Awesome work, man! Truly great.
Awesome work, man! Truly great.
I'm sooooo with dray!! And it's not super hard riding, but it makes you want to ride and that's what VODs are about!!
1 finger braking is better than 2, but ill cut you some slack, it looked like you were running hayes. SICK VID PROPS
wtf?^^^ anyway that was the sickest vid ever!!! super honest and it reminds me why i love biking so much. awesome job!!!
that was just insane, these videos are what makes this website unreal and amazing to show and progress the sport of biking.that video inspired me and dude this makes me wanna go ride now haha
truely amazing
Funny story about that dude flipping at the end. This guy, John Fisher doesn't dirt jump, he races xc. As we're about to leave kamloops he asks if he can borrow my bike, so i give it to him and then he starts trying flips on the stepup and finally stomps one. Also, this one time, because he didn't have a dh bike when we were heading to hit some kelowna downhill trails, he puts some treaded tires on his road bike and comes pinning the fast trails and ladder stunts with us (and keeps up).
loved every minute of it
definate vod material here
loved the creative head cam use and major props to the rider who backfliped at the end

This really is what it's all about, for real. Bros, not pros, every single rider out there who doesn't get a paycheck from biking can relate to this immediately. Hell of a job, hell of an edit, and hella makes me wanna go shred! Well done indeed, hope ya win yer contest boys!!
DenWilly... I absolutely didnt see any posing or 'trying to look cool,' were you watching the same video? this video is about normal people having fun and riding.
and
RomoStills23 Maybe Roam is the only video you've seen with commentary so you think they invented it im not sure, but a wholeeeee lot of videos use commentary to build story, so I'm pretty sure nobodys copying anybody.
and for some reason it looks like all the votes got removed or something?? Its back to 10, wierd

I've seen many diff biking movies and watched them several times i watched this and maybe I wouldn't have said anything if it was just something little but a lot of it stood out(enough for me to notice, which takes a lot) and if you watch roam then watch this you will notice especially specific words that I rarely here in my life that were used in Roam. I'm not saying I'm right, cause you could just as well be right and its nothing but coincidence, I'm just saying that for me kinda ruined that perspective of the video for me cause that's all I was thinking of the entire time. And I say again though props on the video and the riding it was well done and well edited.
Killer vod man! I feel sad that I'm not out there right now...
Just some constructive criticism though: when you're doing your narrative, try and put some purpose into your words. You really gotta sell it. I know how it feels when you're recording a narrative, it's awkward to do, even if you are in the right mood.

This video is FANTASTIC and if doesnt make VOD soon, then im gonna be amazed. This shows the extreme level that riding has taken itself to.

Officially no, whistler action cams had no involvement and consequently took no liability in any injuries that could have occurred as a result of this device. Unofficially yes

one of my favorite videos made im glad to see my local trails like Woodlot and whistler in there because all that was in this video was true to the sport! ur trail that u were building was mint!!
Superb video! The editing and camera work was great, but it’s the subject matter that makes this VOD worthy to me. Your love of biking and the spirit of the sport come through in this video.
Well done guys, very, very well done. Not like some of the Shamwow type ads we see on here, this one is true to life. +++++++++++++
insane! how did u train the spider/bug/ant, for that it's climbing on the chain just in the right moment, when u pass the scene in the background? xD
btw: great vid!
btw: great vid!
I truely think that this vid is one of the best on here, it completely displayed what alot of us northshore mtb'ers think about or passion.. very well done. i hope to see more videos made by you bro
Hey, havnt seen the film yet but I like the description, if the film is made as great as it is wrote I think its worth watching
that was an awesome video. the helmet boom cam shot was super creative and i give you mad props for it. i think it would look cool too if the camera was facing hte other way and it was on the same boom but behind you!

Beautiful video. I feel the same way about riding, but I'm up in Kamloops, but 5 minutes from those backflip shots. How can anyone not take advantage of where he lives?

well mate... you've got my vote here and over there. Awesome riding and sick no-zoom shots. Ure gonna win the contest for sure. Cheers for that!!!
If the purpose of any mountain bike movie is to motivate people to ride then you've succeeded. I'm out the door in 10 minutes for a session.
Awesome work.

i go to camp fortune, that place isnt a s nearly good as whistler but its pretty good its in chelsea, quebec
To go right I use a track dolley system I built, going left takes quite alot of calculations and a team of scientists which I keep on hand at all times
