The WG was developed to face the hardest Downhill races, the back plate is 5,5mm thick and it is completely made using Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) machines from a solid block of 7075 T651 aluminium. The alloy is strong, with strength comparable to many steels. The guide plates are made from abrasion resistant material and the pulley is made from a flexible but tough plastic which causes it to work very quietly and makes it twice as durable as the aluminium counterpart. The pulley runs on a sealed bearing, which causes the chain guides to have minimal pedalling resistance. The WG model is equipped with a special bash guard which beholds an innovative solution. When in combination with the WG chain guide, it perfectly protects the whole chain ring from mechanical damage, while maintaining a low weight. The bash weighs in at 62 grams and it is compatible with 36-38t. Chain rings.
The bash works by having a thicker side and a thinner side, by doing this you have the thinner, lighter side which will face upwards out of harm’s way, leaving the thicker more reinforced side to absorb hits from debris from the track.
The W.O.G is compatible with most frames attaching via an ISCGold or ISCG05 chain guide mount. It can also be applied in frames without the ISCG mount, by using an adaptor which is also available from Mozartt.
