Century Optics Ultra Fisheye 0.3x MKII Like New!

DS-FEWA-37 0.3x ultra fisheye converter lens adaptor with 37mm thread fitment.

I bought this lens a little while back for a potential project at university which never came about. I has been use a couple of times (literally) but has sat in it's case for quite a while, which is just a complete waste. I am very much into stills now so have no use for any of my video stuff. The lens is in excellent condition as it has seen very little action, and it has certainly never been dropped, abused, stored out of its case or otherwise neglected in any way.

This is a very high quality lens, purchased from the US from Schneider Optics. They are currently retailing (in the UK) for around £340, and about the same price to import, so this is an absolute bargain for anyone who wants an near-new condition, high quality fisheye adapter.

The lens produces very high quality images, a high degree of barrell distortion and 180 degrees diagonal viewing angle, very popular with professional skateboard and sports filmers. Depth of field is close to infinite and there should be no issues with focus ever, or using any zoom functions while the lens is attached.

As stated it has a 37mm fitment so will go straight onto many video cameras, but if that's not the right size adapter rings can be acquired very easily and cheaply.

Sad to see it go but it's just an expensive ornament in my house, and it really deserves a working life.
