This bike was originally a GT Avalance 1.0 Medium, although all that remains from the original bike is the frame, so please see the spec below.
It has been very well looked after, although it has been used regularly.
I concentrated on building a lightweight, but strong bike. With the right tyres/pedals the bike weighs in at 12kg ish.
Frame - Avalanche triple triangle frame in lacquered aluminium. This is a great looking finish and best of all it does not show scratches. No dents or cracks etc.
Fork - Rockshox Reba Race 120mm (I have spacers to make it 100mm). No scratches on stanchions and regularly stripped and re-oiled
Chainset - Shimano XT (3 ring)
Front derailleur - Shimano XT
Rear derailleur - Shimano XT
Cassette - Shimano SLX 9 speed (with XT nut, so weighs the same as XT)
Chain - SRAM PC991.(I have a spare of this chain that has been used once also included).
Front Wheel - Hope hub with Mavic 717 rim, Maxxis Minion DHF tyre (60% left), Hope skewer
Rear Wheel - Hope Bulb with Mavic 717 rim, Panaracer Fire XC pro (95% left), Shimano skewer
Brakes - Shimano XT. Front brakes with Hayes 180mm disc, rear 160mm standard disc. Spare pads
Pedal - Shimano DX 647 (Basically XT pedals with resin cages)
Shifter - Shimano Deore - dual action
Seat Post - Raceface Turbine with Hope seat clamp
Seat - Madison Flux (nearly new)
Headset - FSA zero stack (sealed bearings)
Stem - C Boardman Pro (90mm)
Handlebars - C Boardman Pro
Grips - C Boardman lock-on
