By using 29T, 34T, 42T it works to give your existing Shimano drivetrain the 42T range like SRAM XO1 or XX1, but without the high cost and 11spds.
Works only with Shimano rear cassettes, by replacing the last 3 cogs, XT or SLX cassettes
