The Gloworm X1 gives out an astonishing 950 lumens from a unit weighing in at 2oz/58g (remote included) and 35mm in diameter. It boasts the same characteristics as the other Gloworm lights in being waterproof, robust and CNC machined from 6061 Aluminum Alloy.
When bar mounted the remote switch keeps your hand on the grips. When helmet mounted the small size means there's no massive weight hanging from the top of your helmet. A huge benefit of its design is the ability to mount on the front of the helmet meaning you'll never catch your light on another overhanging tree.
All Gloworm lights are user programable!
There are 2 "Programs", one with 2 brightness levels and one with 3. There is also a special mode for each accessible by holding the button in for 2 sec. Each of the brightness levels can be set by the user in 10% increments. Additionally the special mode in each program can be set to Dim (100 lumens), Flash, or Beacon.
The first button push turns the light on and then each push will cycle between the 2 or 3 brightness levels. The light is turned off by holding the button in for 3 seconds.
