Selling a Corsair Konig 4-6 frame (Can be set up for 4" rear travel, or 6", just need different rear shock), This frame also on eBay, so get at me soon if you want it, once someone bids, I can't take it down.
Just not enough riding in this style around my area, so want to put money into other projects. FUN little bike though. Great for slaying twisty single track, especially if there's berms and jumps involved. The Konig 4-6 is a slopestyle bike, that can be converted to a trail bike with a larger rear shock (not included). 12x142mm rear axle (included) Incredible machining on the whole bike, very burly welds, so this is a nimble bike that can still take hits.
It comes with a Rock Shox Monarch that gives the rear a little over 100mm travel (108mm per Corsair site), and they recommend 120mm fork in the front. I am also including FSA Gravity Headset with crown race (mild pry mark on it, on fork side), and seat clamp (it takes 31.6mm posts if you need to know that). I will include the pictured white post for an additional $15. I bought this frame in the raw, painted it up myself. I used Automotive touch up rattle can paints. It did NOT hold up as well as I'd hoped. It's a dark metallic cherry and metallic blue snakeskin pattern, and 4 coats of clear. There are ZERO dents or damage to the frame, only paint chips. The only other modification I made was I added needle bearings to the Eyelets of the shock. However *Full disclosure here*, there is some play in those bearings. I torqued it to the recommended 150 inch/lbs, but if you're willing to go higher, it may clear up, but could also possibly damage the bearings. Functions fine as is, but if the play bothers you, go back to bushings.
Very Burly frame, SHORT cockpit, Short wheelbase (42" if I recall what I measured while it was assembled). Fun bike for the experienced rider. I would say it rode like a glorified BMX bike, very nimble and responsive, but the rear suspension gives it some forgiveness for not so perfect landings.
$375 shipped to the lower 48, I will consider Alaska or Hi, but will charge shipping, and it would proly be astronomical. Over $100 wouldn't surprise me.
