So I've decided to sell my hardtail, on the basis that I rarely use the poor thing and I'm going to see if I can live without one.

In case you're not aware of the Stache, it's a good fun 29er hardtail with reasonably short chainstays and a nice long top tube - so it handles technical riding as well as being light enough for a spot of XC racing if you fancy it. I did a few races on it last year and notched up my first top 10s in about 20 years!

So it's a medium frame in a really lovely red/orange lacquer, through which you can kind of see the metal grain.

Fork - 140mm Revelation RCT3 - very good fork and lightly used (like 180 miles)
Brakes - Shimano XT 785 - only 2 or 3 rides old!
Rotors - Formula 180mm rotors
Wheels - Superstar Tech 4 with DS25 rims - stiff and about as heavy as hope/flow wheelset, I really rate these
Rear tyre - On One Smorgasbord 60a, good condition
Front - Maxxis HR2 3C, on its last legs TBH
Bontrager stock stem, bar, seatpost & saddle
SLX rear mech
XTR shifter
XT cassette 11-36
SLX 175mm chainset with superstar 30t narrow-wide (could supply bigger ring)
FSA cartridge bearing headset smooth
pressfit BB smooth

Pedals not included

It's currently set up 1x10 but if you think you'd prefer 2x10 I could put the old bits back on.
I will dig out the manual and spacers for the fork, so it can be dropped to 120mm if required. It's been fine at 140mm but I was thinking of dropping it 20mm as I like a low BB and that's how trek specced it.

negatives to mention...
rear rim has a few dings but just re-tensioned and was holding air fine (though I've put a tube in at the mo)
wheels are taped for tubeless already and it worked very well
front tyre is ready for replacement
some little scuffs and rub on frame, shown in pics
clutch lever on rear mech is snapped off, but still shifts fine and chain not been falling off

Here's a review on Bikeradar (bear in mind my bike has almost every important bit upgraded)
