2015 PRICE DROP Bird Aeris 650b, Carbon rims, Cane Creak DB

I've had this bike since the end of March 2015 (£3123 new) and it's been awesome! It's been well maintained and has had new pivot bolts from Bird and a new rear tyre. Bird bikes are made in the same factory as Santa Cruz's aluminium bikes and the quality is exactly the same.

The bike is in perfect working condition and has recently been serviced. Minor paint rub on the left hand chain stay (visible in the photo) from my shoe and the red adjuster knob on the bottom of the folk leg is scuffed but function is unaffected.

Bird have been awesome and have dealt with any problems. This was one of the first production bikes to be sold to the public and initially I had issues with the shock bolt working lose however they shipped custom bolts to all owners and I've not had a problem since. While on holiday this summer in France one of the spokes pulled through the carbon rim. Bird FedExed me a replacement wheel complete with tyre overnight which kept me riding on holiday and then replaced the rim and rebuilt the wheel once I was back in the UK. Their customer service is incredible; genuinely never had service like it! The bike came with a LIFETIME warranty which is transferable to the new owner so once a sale is agreed I'll send your details to Bird and introduce you so they have your details should you have any issues in the future, you won’t!

The tubeless Carbon wheels have been brilliant, they are light, run true, no dents or dings and look awesome. I did have a spoke pull through a rim but Bird sorted it out and having spoken to them, it is the first rim they have had fail for a manufacture problem and only the second rim to fail at all! The rims are made in the same factory as the Specilized carbon Roval rims (which retail for £1200) and have very similar dimensions, 35mm external and 29mm internal, which gives an awesome tyre profile. The DT Swiss 350 SP hubs are awesome and the rear has been upgraded to a 36 tooth ratchet for mega quick pick up.

The bike is currently set up with dual front rings however I can convert to a proper 1x10 set up if you wish.
