Maybe I was optimistic about price. How about $3500? Otherwise, I'll keep it or strip it to build the wife a bike...
Strava says I've ridden this bike 400 miles since building it over a year and a a half ago. That's sad. So now it's for sale to finance some other stuff like a few moto trips.
It's a trail slayer and was built as an all-day, answer-to-everything-do-anything bike.
Weighs about 28 lbs as it sits.
Like the title says, this is kind of a dream build. Details are below:
2014 Specialized Stumpjumper Evo Carbon 29 frame. 135mm travel. Fox Float CTD shock with Kashima, Auto Sag and Boost Valve
2014 Rock Shox Pike RCT3 140mm travel fork.
Easton Haven Carbon wheels (these things are amazing - Google them if you don't know). It has the updated rear hub.
XTR trail brakes. 203mm front rotor. 180 rear.
XTR 2x10 Drivetrain (cranks, shiifters, derailleurs, chain, cassette)
Chris King bottom bracket
Schwalbe Hans Dempf front / Nobby Nic rear
Enve carbon riser bar
Easton Haven stem
Command post 2
Bontrager saddle
Everything was bought new for this bike. Only scratches worth mentioning is near the drive side chainstay and seatstay by the dropout and on the top tube just above the shock. Both were from transport in a buddy's pickup. Neither are anything but cosmetic. I've included closeup pics of both.
Bike was built by a local pro mechanic and has been serviced by him (not that it's needed much).
Specs on the frame and geometry are here: http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bikes/archive/2014/stumpjumper-fsr/stumpjumper-fsr-expert-carbon-evo-29-frame
Local pickup only. Price seems really fair and it thus pretty firm.
