2011 Transition Covert with Lots of Extras

Up for grabs is my old trusty Transition Covert, this is a special bike as it was my first mountain bike and therefor I have many awesome memories of adventures, wrecks, broken bones, concussions, etc on this bike! Its a bummer to have to let it go, but it's been looking lonely down in the garage and begging for someone to take it out and hit some booters and shred some knar! This bike definitely shows signs of use but is really still in great shape and is ready for many more years of use, if you are looking / thinking of getting into mountain biking then this is the bike for you, it will allow you to safely push your limits, have fun and gain experience.

So let me tell ya a little about the ol steed.

Fork: Rock Shox Lyric RC Dual Position Air with upgraded "PIKE" seals. The pike seals really reduce a lot of stiction and really help make the fork feel even more plush than standard. The Dual Position Air allows you to adjust the height of the fork on the fly from 160mm used for descending to 130mm for climbing. This fork has been serviced regularly and really doesn't have any serious scratches or dings on the sanctions. It really is in really really good shape!

Rear Shock: Not much to rave about here, it has a Fox Float RP23, this is a very dependable rear shock and seems to work great on this bike.

Wheelset and Tires: Transition Revolution 32 rims, these suckers are bomb proof, if you like shredding the downs like your on a downhill bike then these are the rims for you. Flats are super easy to fix as the rims really make it easy to get the tire on and off! This bad boy has Maxis Minion DHf 26" Tires that are in pretty good shape! I'm also throwing in as an extra bonus 3 used Minion DHf's and a Minion DHR spare tires, so you shouldn't have to buy any tires for this bike for the foreseeable future.

Drivetrain: AVID Elixr 7 Hydraulic Brakes that scream like banshees after they've gotten wet..., 180mm rotors front and rear! SRAM x9 rear derailer, SRAM x7 shifter, 10 speed Shimano XT rear cassete barely used just put on, ONE up 42 tooth cog, 32 tooth front chainring, SRAM Cranks, Azonic Flat Pedals, Kind Shock eTen Dropper post with South Paw remote lever.

Extras: Spare 26" Tube, Shimano Clip In Pedals, x7 Front Derailer, x7 Front Shifter, x7 Rear Derailer, Seatpost, SRAM 10 speed rear cassete, Misc Cogs, Chainrings, spare Minions, and some awesome blue handlebars to use for heckling at your next race!
