2002 VW Golf 1.9tdi 130

selling my dark green 2002 52reg mk4 VW Golf.

1.9tdi engine with 130bhp, 6 speed manual gearbox, 131k miles, 5 door model, MoT until middle of November.

It's a cat D car, I just found out when someone hpi checked it recently. It's had replacement front wings and bumper so I assume it was a frontal impact. Nothing looks out of place or wonky under the bonnet though so it was probably just body damage that wasn't economical for the insurer to repair...

So anyway that's why it's up for £500. It'll easily do 45mpg, even if you've got a heavyish right foot.
the bodywork is ok;
the lacquer on the roof is cracking a bit
the drivers side wing mirror got hit and the casing has been superglued back together
there's a bit of badge grille missing from when I hit a pheasant on the lanes... otherwise it's just stone chips really.

It has a VW radio/cassette stereo and it'll come with a tape adapter for playing music on your phone or whatever, climatronic heating system, electric windows and all that. It had a new alternator last year and new glow plugs at the MoT.

It has a few rattles and shakes but it's a 14 year old car for sale for £500.
