Warranty / Warehouse Assistant

Orange Sport Supply Inc. is a fast growing bicycle parts and accessories distributor located in North Vancouver.

We are looking to fill the position of Warranty / Warehouse Assistant. This position will be split between working within our warranty department and our warehouse. The work split is aimed to be approximately 50/50 (20hrs per week in the warranty department, 20hrs in the warehouse), but can vary dependent on needs of those departments.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

WARRANTY:
• Communication with vendors, bicycle shops, and internal staff
• Working with bicycle computers, bicycle lights, hydraulic brake systems
• Analysis of bicycle parts received from dealers for evaluation
• Following company and vendor procedures for efficient and timely response to dealer requests
• Maintaining an organized and efficient work area
• Continually look for and implement improvement to processes

WAREHOUSE:
• Accurately pick and pack orders from dealers
• Participate in counting, receiving, and organizing orders from vendors
• Entering dealer address and shipment information accurately into shipment databases
• Participate in inventory counts
• Help in maintaining an organized and efficient work area

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Highly detail oriented, organized, quality oriented, and able to multitask
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in both phone conversations and emails
• Must have strong computer (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills
• Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic is a definite asset
• Previous experience in inventory control is a definite asset
• Forklift certification is an advantage, but willing to train
• Able to lift items of at least 20-30 pounds with ease
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, hard working
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment
• Good basic math skills
