2012 Intense 951 Pro Downhill Bike (DeeMax,Saint,Fox,X0)

This is a listing for the very special Intense 951 FRO. Was a spare Intense team race bike which I got virtually unused. Work, age and children have meant I have only ridden it about 3 times a year so time to go to a new home.


Epic downhill bike, favourite of the Dirt 100, plush, light and race ready. This is better than the current model as has the more adjustable G3 drop outs to tweak geometry to a particular course and has adjustable travel by shock mount position. Medium frame, no dents/cracks. Key areas heli-taped and has liquid rubber from Tricky Tuned Racing on rear triangle to protect frame and deaden noise. Scott chainstay wrap. Fox DHX RC4 shock with titanium spring upgrade, maintained by Mojo. Little use since new frame bearings.


Fox 40 forks, titanium spring upgrade, heli-taped. One tiny area of stanchion rub checked by Mojo, high up, no concern.


Mavic DeeMax Ultimate wheels, very sought after and still cost over £400 second hand. Light and bombproof, wrapped in nearly new High Roller 2 ST front and part worn Minion ST rear.
SRAM X0 shifter and Blackbox (pro) X0 mech.
Saint 165 cranks, e.thirteen chainguide
Full new Zee disc kit last year, amazing brakes
Renthal Duo stem and Fatbar

This bike is used but loved, well maintained and rides beautifully. There is some wear and there are a few scratches to paint and stickers with a few tiny touched up areas on down tube but no dents. The rear hub bearings were replaced last week as had got a bit dry, now running beautifully.
So you can make it look even fresher (should you want) the bike will come with a pack of replacement fork and nearly all the frame stickers that I have plus a new head tube badge.
