The 4X/Slopestyle frame is a 4" travel 6061-T6 Weapons Grade Aluminum piece of art. With a hydroformed Top Tube, a butted and formed down tube & seatstay; an under arch seatstay bridge,a tapered head tube, ISCG05 tabs, a 142×12mm e-thru axle drop out and Diamondbacks legendary Knuckle Box design. The 4X/Slopestyle frame gets its chops from the Mission platform. We used what we learned with the Mission to make a few tweak and reinforcements, reduce the travel and ultimately build a park bike that could slay the big hits with the agility of a dirt jumper. The bike is designed around a 100 or 120mm fork up front which allows the front end to sit at around 68 to 69 degrees. We’ve also added a reinforced downtube to ensure a stable platform regardless of how big you go.
