It is time to part with this amazing bike frame. I had a great time with it, it was my first build, but it is just too big for me. So, I am ready to put my effort towards a small frame bike.
I have built a small Trance and would like to see this frame make it to a new rider.
I will consider trading for a Giant Anthem 27.5 or 29.

Pictured is the frame and several items that would/could be part of this bike build. I will list all items separately with price, but would be willing to make a deal for the entire package.

1. Frame - 2014 Lapierre Zesty 727 ei size Medium - $850 comes with all components of course - pictured
2. KS Lev - 125 mm Dropper post - internal routed - Freshly serviced by KS LEV, with new components - $200
3. FOX Evolution Series 32 Float, CTD Damper, Rebound, E2 Tapered Steerer, 15QR Thru Axle - 120mm - Taken off a Trek Fuel after about 15 rides - $200
4. Giant P-AM 2 wheelset - purchased brand new and ridden for about 20 rides then went to Maxxis - set up tubeless with tires and lots of life (Hans Dampf/Nobby Nic)-$250
5. Raceface Blue Handlebar - Brand new - never mounted 35mm diameter with Raceface 50mm Stem for 35mm Diameter - $110
6. Shimano 10 speed cassette - light used before switching to 11 speed - $50
7. Blue VP VICE (VP-015) pedals - installed and used once, I am not a flats guys, so...$55
8. 2 Avid 160 mm Brake Rotors - $30
9. Your choice of: Avid Elixr Hydraulic Brakes or Tektro Mechanical disc brakes (calipers and handles) $30

So that adds up to: $1775, that's a lot for some, so lets negotiate! There is almost enough here to have a complete bike! All items are up for sle and will be posted in separate ads as well. Get your parts for cheaper by lumping them all together in this order!

So, I paid $1530 for the frame and figured it is worth $1100 dropped to $975 then dropped again to $850 but I am willing to work on it if you have an offer. All of the other items are priced for about half of what I paid or at least on par with similar items on pink bike.

Frame Specs:
Shimano Press fit 92 bottom bracket - included
150 mm rear travel powered by a Rockshox Monarch RT3 200x57mm (ei shock)
Carbon front triangle with a all-alloy rear end
Standard rear dropout 12mm x 142mm with Axe
Tapered Head tube - FSA headset included
Internal cable routing for dropper post and derailleur

History of this bike frame: I purchased this used frame one year ago on PB. It was in great condition. I built the bike with all new components purchased in Jan 2016. This bike has been ridden on all types of trails from Oklahoma to North Carolina to Florida to New Mexico. It spent a weekend at Angel Fire MTB Park for downhill fun and it handled extremely well and was a blast! The shop mechanic there said this is one "sick" bike. I have put this bike through lots of miles and rides as I ride often and hard. It has not suffered any major wrecks or damages and is still in good condition.

I have wanted to update the ei electrical system battery because after being the second owner, I think the battery needs to be replaced. I have even considered gutting the entire electrical system and placing a standard rear shock. I never did either because of the size and just decided to build instead.

I do like the fact that I can place it in Auto mode and the system work autonomously throughout my ride, so it is set and I don't need to adjust it for the whole ride. If you are unfamiliar with ei, it is Electronic intelligence - 3 sensors provide input data to the rear shock and it adjusts the rear shock based on the sensor inputs from terrain and pedal cadence within 0.01 seconds. Basically, the reaction time it takes for the front wheel to hit a root and the rear wheel to hit the same root while traveling at speeds around 30km.

Quote from Bike RADAR 2014 Zesty First look. We think that anyone who has a taste for hard riding – or is a regular visitor to the lands of ski lifts and mountains – should consider whether they'd be willing to trade the lower weight of a Zesty AM against the extra accuracy of a Spicy. Lapierre are confident that the Zesty is the better choice for the average all-round rider, and expect it to outsell the Spicy by a significant amount.

This bike is listed on bicyclebluebook at the original retail price of $6300. I don't think this has that devalue tool built into this model for some reason. But this is not a brand new bike and it is not built with the factory specs.

I will consider a bike frame trade. I am looking for a small. I prefer a Giant Anthem, I really like how that bike handles. I just bought and built a new Trance frame. Any other frame is available for discussion.

I am open to discussion, I know what it is like looking for a bike to build or buy, so don't hesitate to contact me. I am reasonable and easy to work with. I am fair and will be completely honest with you concerning every aspect of this bike.

If you want to discuss on the phone, once you make initial contact we will swap numbers.
Paypal preferred. Buyer pays fees and shipping, but that is negotiable as well.
I can also send pictures via text if you are wanting them that way. Close ups of the bike that very day and not a picture from 2 months or a year ago.
Thanks for looking!
Warning: This listing is out of date. You must Edit this item before you can repost!"
