I bought the bike New from Stif Bikes (Santa Cruz Main Dealers and Distributors) just outside Harrogate. It came factory built and is really high spec and cost over £6000.

Due to a variety of circumstances including running 2 businesses and having a young family I have only used it about 5 times! Each time has been on routes well within its capability as I am fairly novice off road. I am from a road back ground and since I am very short on free time I tend to grab my road bike or jump on my turbo.

As a result I cannot justify having such a high spec bike so am reluctantly selling.

The 5010 (Solo) from Santa Cruz is not to be under estimated in terms of what its short travel will lead you to believe.

Short chainstays, VPP linkage technology and low bottom bracket all added together make the 5010 a snappy, agile, trail smashing machine. built with the same knowledge used to develop the Bronson, the 5010 has a 68 degree head angle for better climbing agility.
