2015 Chromag Sufrace, size L. It's with a heavy heart that I put this beauty up for sale. I get nothing but compliments on this bike and it's a blast to ride too, though that's a given with a Chromag. 67.5 degree head angle with a 140mm travel fork makes this bike really versatile. I've taken this beauty on big Whistler loops on all the technical trails, raced short track XC on it and done big days in the Alpine too. It's really a Swiss Army Knife of a mountain bike. It's the sort of bike you can take on a ride where you aren't sure what you'll encounter and you'll know that the Surface will give you a fun ride whatever. Add in the Chromag aesthetic of the steel frame, hand built by the master, Chris Dekerf, in Vancouver BC and you have a real jewel of a bike that's timeless.

Specs:
2015 Chromag Surface frame (hand built by Chris Dekerf in Vancouver BC) in platinum silver (not many frames around in this color) size L which is equivalent to a 19" frame.
2015 Fox 34 fork with 140mm travel, just rebuilt with a 2017 air spring, new seals etc. Also has the Vorsprung TLA customer damper installed which makes this fork ride amazingly.
Chris King headset.
Custom wheels with WTB i24 carbon rims laced to White Industry Hubs with bladed spokes, stunning wheels that ride so nicely, really strong too, the wheelset alone would cost $1600 new.
Tires will be a Minion SS on the rear that had 4 months use last summer matched to a Schwalbe Magic Mary front (not the E13 in the photos).
KS Lev post with external fixed actuator.
Chromag BZA bars and stem, 35mm diameter, 800mm wide uncut bars.
2015 Shimano XTR trail brakes.
2015 SRAM XO1 groupset with a Absolute Black oval direct mount 32t ring.
Chromag Trailmaster DT Saddle (not the WTB shown in the photos).
Chromag Grips.

This bike it mint. It's been carefully looked after by a meticulous engineer and ex bike mechanic. The paint work still gleams and sparkles (there are a few scratches but these are very minimal), the fork just had a fresh rebuild, the brakes are awesome with lots of life left in the pads, newer tires, wheels are solid and true. It's a really stunning bike and ready for whatever adventures you choose this summer.
