For sale, reluctantly, is the best bike Ive ever owned. Hands down. Sadly, due to a move to London Im having to downsize the bike collection, so this killer rig has to go.
2017 Trek Remedy 8 is the perfect bike in my eyes, name an Enduro buzzword, this bike has it. Super stiff thanks to boost and Trek's Knock Block, and super subtle suspension down to Treks dedicated suspension tuning. This bike is so so stuff, it handles the rough like a DH bike, but climbs like a XC rig. What more can you want, 150mm travel front and rear with a Pike that can be converted to 160mm should you feel the need to with an aftermarket valve.
Ive never raced this bike, so its in really good condition. With only superficial and small paint chips/scratches. Ive looked after it.
I work in the industry and bought this through a Trek employee scheme, so have owned it from new only about 5 months ago.
The bike will be serviced before sale. The BB has been regularly serviced and is feeling sweet, as are the frame bearings etc. The frames Mino Link allows for adjustable geometry. Ive just set it in the Lowest position for optimum DH Gnar.
The bike is pretty much stock, nothing really needs to be changed! Its great. The most notable change however is to the colour scheme. By using car vinyl wrap, I've been able to cover the original white paint with Gold. I must say, it looks dope, and certainly turns heads on the trails. Think R Dogs session park DH rid, similar vibes and defo improves confidence and steeze ability tenfold. The gold has also preserved the white underneath and will be able to peel off should you deem is necessary.
Up for £1800, which is £800 less than the retail, for a 5 month old bike that really isn't bad. Happy for sensible offers though. Move Pictures can be provided upon request.
