2014 Ridley Phaeton T

Want to get faster in triathlon / duathlon and stay on a budget? The Ridley Phaeton T with Shimano 105 provides all of the aerodynamic advantages you need yet offers comfort in the aero position. I'm an average 50 year old rider and I rode this bike to the podium in various duathlons. The bike is so fast that even I am able to ride a flat 40km TT course at an average of over 38km/h on this bike.

This Ridley Phaeton T is in perfect, rarely used condition and comes with a solid group of components and a sleek, wind-cutting frame design. Ridley used strong and stiff, triple-butted 7005 aluminum to construct the tubes. Aluminum, when shaped correctly, offers a toe-to-toe weight-to-stiffness ratio with carbon fiber, making great aluminum a better choice than cheap carbon any day of the week. Ridley's use of hydroforming on the tubes created a profile that cheats drag without sacrificing comfort - exactly what you need in a tri, TT, or du event. The Phaeton features internal cable routing and Ridley's F-Surface technology to dissipate wind-resistance. Ridley included its 4ZA R-Blade carbon fiber fork to dissipate road vibration and chatter. Further, the Phaeton has a sophisticated positioning system that allows multiple adjustments. Knowing that flexibility is variable throughout the season, Ridley equipped the Phaeton with a full-length aero carbon seatpost with its A.S.A. adjustment system. This allows you to easily re-position the seat angle to your liking, and thus make your reach to the Profile Design T3 Airwing bars as comfortable as possible.

Size is XL - 60cm. I`m 190cm (6'3") and I have the seat post far up and all spacers under the bars. The bike would probably fit someone 5'9" - 6'3"
