This high specced 2011 Specialized Demo 8 has been well maintained & upgraded since purchased new, giving you a rock solid reliable bike even though it is a few years old now. The frame has a few scrapes as you can see in the pictures, but everything is mechanically sorted, including a great barely used wheelset, newly bled brakes, new brake pads and I also did a complete bearing replacement a year ago and have barely ridden it since (hence sale).
Any questions let me know, local pickup preferred.
Full spec as follows:
Shock: Cane creek double barrel. Serviced by J-Tech. 450 x 3.00 titanium spring.
Forks: Boxxer World Cup/Teams - although the decals say world cups I had J-Tech convert the air spring for a titanium coil like the teams, keeping the rebound/compression damping from the original World Cup spec. Feel awesome, very smooth and progressive, running a firm spring, minimal marks on stanchions and have had frequent lower oil/seal changes by me.
Brakes: Shimano Saint brakes, with 203mm rotors & brand new pads (make sure to bed them in first run). Freshly bled for sale and feeling great.
Wheels: Hope Pro 2Evo hubs with Stans ZTR-FLOW EX wheelset, true and rock solid.
Tyres: 2.5 Maxxis Minion DHF on the front and a 2.4 Maxxis Highroller II at the back. Decent condition.
Bars: Renthal High Rise cut to 750mm.
Stem: Truvativ direct mount, Hope Head doctor
Grips: Yeti super squishy ODI lock ons
Cranks: Shimano Saints - Rawed finish can be polished
Pedals: NC17 Sudpin III s-Pro
Chainring: Renthal 38T
Chainguide: E13 [LG1 I think]
Shifter: SRAM X0
Derailleur: SRAM X9
Cassette: SRAM PG-970 DH 11 - 26 narrow range downhill cassette
Seatpost: EX system 30.9mm post
Saddle: Funn
