2012 Giant Reign small

2012 small (15.5") Giant Reign 2 150mm frame travel, fox 36 160mm. I've owned for 4 years. Full working order with all worn parts. Selling as I have bought a newer bike.

This is quite a short bike that would suit somebody up to 5"6 at most, maybe a teenager for christmas. Obviously not the most modern geometry but rides steep slower technical stuff very well and has spent the past 2 years riding everything in the Tweed valley. Scuffed throughout through normal use. Spec and geometry are different from original and also the measurements on giant's archived website are not even correct.
Rough geometry is 1110mm wheelbase, HA around 66.5deg, reach is around 380mm, stack around 590mm. seattube 15.5 inches/~390mm. Bike has one offset shock bushing and a longer A-C fork than original spec hence different numbers. It cannot accept a chainguide unfortunately, I've gone through a few seattube-mounted devices but all either don't work or fail eventually.

Sold as is. No PX. Bike is in north Edinburgh, can meet locally. £580.



Spec:
Alu frame, 150mm. Pivot bearings & pressfit BB changed about a year ago, no play in frame. Headset not changed for a few years.
2012 Fox 36 talas 160mm, last full service by flotec about a year ago.

Wheelset 26" mavic xm719 on hope pro evo II hubs. On the bike from new. Light rims but seem to be bend-proof so far. Hubs well-known for durability. Rear wheel bearings have small amount of play but has not worsened in well over a year of use. Tyres are 2.3 magic mary front and 2.35 maxxis shorty rear, both single-ply mixed compound in reasonably good condition. Bike will come with some part-worn highrollers for people who fear the mud!

Shock is original spec fox float RP2, works reliably and no air leak. New DU bush and offset in top, bike has not been ridden since replacing these.
Rockshox reverb external hose (the less-maintenance type of reverb) 125mm travel x 30.9mm dia. Works nicely.
750mm low rise bar, deity blacklabel brand. 50mm nukeproof warhead stem.
Brakes shimano SLX levers and calipers all worn but working and freshly bled. 180mm rotors front & rear.

Drivetrain, cranks are grey (scuff-proof!) shimano 175mm original spec.Nukeproof electron (plastic) pedals, worn body but bearings intact. Fizik gobi xm saddle 4 years of use, hard and 130mm narrow.
1x10 setup with shimano XT lever, zee short cage derrailleur with clutch. Chain, cassette (11-36) and chainring (32t I/O) all well-worn.
