2017 Specialized Ruze Comp Fattie Ladies geo plus tire bike

NOTE: SALE PENDING as of JUNE 19TH (LIKELY SOLD) this lovely girl is a Plus Tire Hardtail (tires are 3 inches wide, so smaller than a fat tire but larger than standard mtb tire). Has a 1 x10 (one chain ring, 10 cog cassette). This bike is FUN and hard not to like. The main advanrage of a Plus tire bike over a Fat Tire bike is the cost of the tires....Fat TIre bikes tires are generally $250-$400+ each!! Plus Tires are priced like regular old mountain bike tires. Its like riding a full suspension 29er, without the full suspension price. You can ride over anything with this bike and the 3-setting adjustable-height 'dropper' seat post, smooth thumb-and-trigger-finger shifting, and thru axle wheels are super sweet features. Its an "easy" bike. Great for a more novice rider. Throw some studs on the tires and you'll be killing it on the snow and ice this winter/spring!

The medium Ladies geometry Specialized Ruze frame size fits a rider between 5'3" to max 5'7" according to the Specialized sizing chart. There is nothing "girlie" about this bike so it could work well for a male rider as well...the coral-colored detailing is subtle on the satin black frame. Why selling? My plans to winter ride this year have just not materialized with the great xc skiing this winter and I need the moola for a new road bike. Priced to sell OR I would consider trade for a mildly used, well-maintained, full carbon men's or unisex road bike size 51" or 52" with Shimano 105 or Ultegra gearing.

It was ridden maybe a total of 500kms summer/fall 2017, The bike's in stellar condition. Regularly maintained by the excellent, handsome, and hilarious bike techs a Revolution Cycle in Edmonton where it was purchased spring 2017 (I'm the original owner).

MSRP price new was $1999.00. Will throw in new back fender still in the package. Stock flat pedals and a basic pair of heavier double-sided Shimano SPD clipless included if you want them.

You are totally welcome to take it out for a test ride on the trails near my home (I live near the Stadium), while I hang on to your vehicle keys, driver's license and credit card! :D
