Vintage ZEUS

Vintage 1960s ZEUS
So very authentically old-school Spanish. A high-end brand in its day.
ST 52 ctc, TT 54.5 ctc.
Most components are Zeus-branded: seatpost, pedals, hubs, shifters, brake levers and derailleurs.
Most other components, if not Zeus-branded, are also Spanish: Akront rims, Alfa brake calipers and crankset, Arius saddle.
Regina 5-speed freewheel and chain.
The bars are Italmanubri, and the tires are Wolber tubulars.
The stem is an unknown brand.
Rare metallic head badge.
(Note: As mentioned, Zeus levers and hoods, which are of a later vintage. I could include a pair of period-correct Alfa levers, if desired. No hoods for them, tho'. I don't know if the Mafac-type hoods could work on them; they're of similar design).

The frameset had an oxalic acid bath to clean it up for the restoration years ago.
Since, it has been ridden, as it should be; it has had more than 15 years of careful riding with us.
The original patina has been maintained with waxing.
There are scuffs, chips and scratches consistent with its age and 45 years of use.
The paint is faded and there is some discolouration. There is fading and some pitting of the chrome.
