Up for sale is my trusty 2016 Orange Alpine RS in Sterling Silver. I bought this brand new from Orange at the end of 2015, and it has been ridden weekly since then. It's the RS spec with upgraded dropper (Reverb) and cockpit (Hope/Renthal) from factory. It's a medium (quite a long medium so nice and stable) with awesome geometry and is quite slack. The bike has been well maintained by myself and Cheshire Cycles up until the back end of summer last year.

It's in average condition as you can see from the photos, it's been used and used properly so what can you expect. Ignoring the paint, the frame is bob on, if you went and repainted the frame it'd look brand new and easily keep going for years. I'm only 11 stone so I don't think I've been too harsh on the old gurder, but I'm advertising this as a bit of project as she does need some work, as my funds are now going into my new bike.

Spec wise..

- Orange Alpine 2016 Medium Frame in Sterling Silver, Frame bearings replaced early 2017.
- Rockshox Pike 160mm .. can't fault these at all, feel amazing, last serviced back end of Summer 2017.
- Fox Float X Shock, tuned for a single pivot. Feeling good but could do with a service probably. Upgraded in mid 2016.
- Rockshox Reverb dropper post, still working well.
- Sram Guide Brakes, have always worked well for me, had the levers warrantied Summer 2017. Pads replaced a few months back.
- Renthal Bars 785mm, Hope 35mm Stem, nice short reach. Cane creek headset, 50/01 top cap, Sram grips.
- Alexrim 650b Wheels, came standard on the bike, they've got my custom decals on. Wheels need replacing realistically, play in both front and back bearings, been told rear hub needs internals replacing at minimum, but new wheels recommended.
- WTB tyres front and rear, front still has good meat on, rear is purposefully completely shot and has been my winter drift tyre.
- Hope chain device
- Raceface Aeffect cranks
- Raceface 30t chainring
- Burgtec Flats... these are pretty well seized in and last time I tried to remove it was stripping threads. So be warned.
- Charge Spoon saddle
- Shimano XT Mech, Shifter
- Shimano Wide Range Cassette, can't remember what, but you can pedal up anything

Good bits..
- It's a solid, sturdy and long bike. Very stable, modern geo and feels mint.
- Forks are faultless. Best fork I've had.
- Shock is tuned to single pivot so this suspension is arguably working as well as it can be.
- Brakes are spot on.
- Gearing set up is near perfect.
- Reverb works, not the fastest motion but it's all good.
- Come with the most badass wheel decals you've ever seen

Not so good bits/action needed
- Wheels, they had a bearing change early last year but it's been to Morzine, Finale and many other spots since. The bearings are completely shot, play in front and rear wheels. As mentioned above you could replace bearings and rear hub, but I'd honestly recommend a new wheelset.
- You'll need a new rear tyre, unless you like it drift spec.
- Would benefit from a grease of the headset/BB, purely from the basis that I've not done it recently.
- As mentioned above, the pedals are pretty well seized in, and last time I tried to remove, I pulled some threads out. I was going to rethread the crank arms but never got round to it. So you may well need crank arms. Fairly certain the pedals are all good.
- Could probably do with a shock service, came off a dirt test bike in mid 2016 and has been on my bike since.

I think that's everything covered. It's priced accordingly for the issues it has, but with those issues solved will be a belting bike once again. Just needs some TLC.

It has been such a sick bike for hooning about on just about anywhere, but needs to go as it's just taking up space in the garage.

Located in Warrington, Cheshire. Pickup ideally or can meet you somewhere within reason. I'll post it via courier if need be, providing buyer covers those fees.

Any questions, just give me a shout.

Cheers
Tom
