2014 Specialized S-Works Demo 8: X01, I-9, Saint, DHX2

I need to sell my Specialized S-Works Demo 8. It’s a 2014 model with 26” wheels in the “long” size. It’s in excellent condition and has never been raced or even ridden in super muddy conditions. In fact, it has very little ride time on it. I only got to the bike park 3 times last year. It does have some minor scratches as you would expect. If you look at the photo of the downtube, you will see a thick clear protector. There is also clear tape on the areas of the frame where you would expect rub from cables and feet.

It has a carbon front triangle and aluminum rear. It came with a Rock Shox Vivid coil, but I put a brand-new Fox DHX2 rear shock on it at the start of last season. The shock has three days of riding on it. I got the Boxxer (coil) professionally serviced at the same time and it has the same amount of riding on it. I have the lightest spring in the fork, but I will include the medium and heavy springs in the sale. I also have the higher rise crown that came with the fork that I will include.

There are two issues to mention. One is the rear tire, which I tried to show in the photo. There are bubbles emerging under the knobs for some reason. I have a brand-new replacement (NIB) that I will include. The other is the rear derailleur and hanger, which have fallen victim to a rock strike. I was able to get the derailleur to function fairly well, but will probably need to be replaced soon. I have a brand new Sram XO DH 7-speed derailleur and two hangers included.

For the full asking price, I will have my local shop box it up and ship the bike insured through BikeFlights. If you are outside the US, let's try to work something out.
