Built for me last year by Geometron bikes at a cost of nearly £6500 after being blown away on a demo day in Wales. I had this built as the ultimate bike park, alps, big day bike to replace my SB6 and believe the hype, this thing is insanely capable and bonkers fast. I absolutely destroyed my previous best times on local trails on this bike. It will also climb insanely well and better a lot of significantly shorter travel and lighter bikes.
I can clean long technical climbs on this that I can't clean on my pivot switchblad. I normally ride a large but actually sized down( if you can call a bike with 500mm reach a medium!) it's been ridden about 10 times, I have a number of other bikes so only used this a handful of times last summer.
In its current 170/180mm set up its too much travel for my regular trails but the fact I can happily do the same 5 hour trail ride on this that I'd normally use the Switchblade for made me curious as to how it would perform with bigger hoops and shorter travel on my every day rides. My intention was to start using this as my go to bike this summer and experiment with fitting 29" hoops with it in 150mm travel setting as I've found the geometry a revelation however a recent wrist injury means it is unlikely I will be able to ride again and certainly not this year. So it's time for a clear out.
