2017 Cannondale Scalpel-Si Carbon 2 XL

For Sale: 2017 Cannondale Scalpel-Si Carbon 2. This bike is in amazing condition with only one season on it. Before being ridden the entire bike was coated in 3M paint protection so it looks perfect! (and is super easy to clean).

The Scalpel 2 model means carbon everything! (frame, fork, wheels, seatpost, cranks, and handlebars). I never realized how amazing carbon mtb wheels were until riding this bike.

I absolutely adored this bike. Hands down this has been my favorite mountain bike I’ve ever ridden. It’s insanely light (25lbs), insanely fast, and unbelievably capable. At “only” 100mm front and rear travel this bike punches so far beyond its weight class on the climbs (obviously) but also on the descents. I fully understand why this bike has been voted the best full suspension XXC bike. The only reason I’m selling it is because my 2018 Scalpel 1 has now arrived.

Meticulously cared for and fully tuned up and ready to go! Fresh tune up (drivetrain, suspension/links, new Cannondale grips, new rear tire, new brakes pads, and new chain).

Internally routed Dropper post is negotiable.

*I also have a second set of the exact same Cannondale carbon CZero wheels that I am willing to sell off should you want a second set of wheels*. There is also a full set of brand new "take off" SRAM TLM brakes with rotors that I am willing to sell with this bike.

I’d prefer a “local” Alberta/BC deal but will ship within North America at buyers cost.
