This is a size large 2009 GT Sanction frame. Brown frame with a raw rear end (this is how they were produced).
Suspension:
This bike will come with a 2014 170mm SR Suntour Durolux fork and Fox DHX rear shock. The Durolux is a shockingly good fork with great front end rigidity and good bottom out resistance. It has a 20mm axle up front to keep things stout and ready to rock rough trails.
The DHX is a proven performer from the days gone by. It has remained reliable throughout it's life and requires basic but easy maintenance to keep it running smooth.

Overview:
The GT Sanction is an awesome bike with great qualities that will surprise anyone. While old, GT's I-drive is without a doubt a solid piece of engineering that keeps pedal bob to a minimum on this 160mm bike. While I have not weighed the bike, it feels great for it's age. It isn't a featherweight but it also doesn't break. This is a very reliable and stout bike that is willing to take the hits. Speaking of which, this bike comes to life on the descents. With a 65 degree headangle and the relatively tight packaging this bike remains stable but easily placeable on rough trails. This bike has provided me with a sense that I am on something bigger than the numbers suggest. If you've ridden an older GT Force then you'll be somewhat familiar with the cockpit of the bike as they're almost identical in the parking lot. They behave much differently on the trail with the Sanction feeling bigger and calmer on rough terrain.

I am selling this bike to make room in my garage. I originally planned on keeping this bike forever but the minimalist in me needs me to retire it completely to make room for a new bike. Text me if you have any questions and I will be sure to answer. I took it apart months ago with the plan to upgrade components but I had to work on my Jeep instead. 'Tis life.

I will be parting this bike out so keep an eye out for the components as that is what will be included if purchased as a complete.
