2018 Spawn Cycles- Brood 24 x 27

I bought these for my 10 y.o. son who used them 3 or 4 times with the Maxtion 24 x 2.3 folding tire and Maxxis Minion DHF 24 x 2.4 TR, 3C Maxx Terra EXO tire, set up tubeless with sealant. He quickly moved on to a 26" wheelset. This is a near mint wheelset and tires; your kid deserves to shed weight and shred great! $200 shipped for the complete wheelset with mounted tubeless tires CONUSA.

As is, the mounted wheels weigh 7lbs. 6 oz. (3.35 Kg). The other matching set of Maxtion and Minion tires in the picture have been sold.

Brood TR27 24" Wheelset:

The Brood TR27 24" wheelset will keep your kids rolling! The wheels start with an awesome foundation with a 135mm wide rear hub (10mm QR) with 5 sealed bearings and a Shimano HG compatible freehub with 5 pawls to make for tons of engagement and strength for whatever is thrown at them.

The front hub is 100mm wide with 2 sealed bearings and utilizes a 15mm through axle design. 28 spokes connect the hubs to the sweet new UST tubeless compatible Brood TR27 rims. The rims are constructed out of 6061-T6 alloy with sleeved joints and 27mm internal width to keep things light, bombproof and wide.

The front wheel comes in at 800g and the rear wheel weighs 965g without rim strips (currently Gorilla Tape is used).

Compatible with 6 bolt brake rotors (not included). Rear QR skewer and front axle not included.
