PRICE DROP!

Greetings, fellow circus freaks!

Up for sale is my beloved Ventana. Fits guys 6ʼ6” (with long legs) to 6ʼ11”. Bought this semi custom in mid 2013, has always been in a stable of at least 3 other bikes, so actual ride time/usage is much less than expected for age. Estimated total ride time is around 400-450 hours.

140/160mm adjustable rear travel via flip chip with quick Allen bolt adjustment. Built around 29 inch fork and 27.5 rear (similar idea to Foes Mixer). Retains most of the rollover of 29er with short chainstays/poppability of 27.5. Chainstay is approximately 17 inches in length. This bike is incredibly fun and playful, and is a very good climber, but can handle very burly terrain/riding with ease. No major crashes.

I am selling to partially offset the cost of a new bike that fits me slightly better than this. It has been a comfortable ride for me thus far, but Iʼm finding I prefer even longer reach/top tube. (Iʼm 7 ft with fairly proportional upper to lower extremities.)

Bike has gotten full inspection/service at Fat Tire Farm in Portland, OR in late August, 2018 with less than 20 miles ridden on it since.

Currently with a Rockshox Pike DPA RCT3 set at 160mm (externally adjustable to 130mm with switch), just rebuilt factory service with no subsequent rides.
Head tube angle is approximately 66.5 degrees. Seat tube is 24 inches, top tube is approximately 27 inches.

Brand new SRAM NX 11 cassette, chain, derailleur, shifter, and front single chainring with no subsequent rides. New derailleur cable housing/cable installed.
Custom wheelset with Bombproof Hadley hubs (just rebuilt by Fat Tire Farm) on Velocity Blunt rims, 36hole (rims true). 142mm rear spacing, 100mm front, both thru axle.

Brand new rear tire - WTB Vigilante 2.3. Maxxis Minion 2.5 front with lots of life left. Front and rear set up tubeless, with new Stans sealant.
Bottom bracket (Pressfit style) has been serviced by Fat Tire Farm. Front and rear Shimano LX brakes have been bled with no subsequent rides.

Cane Creek dbAir rear shock (no climb switch) with approximately 30 hours ride time since last service. There is a scratch on the top of the shock which does not affect the stanchion or function. Bushings replaced by Fat Tire Farm.

Kind Shock Supernatural R 150mm external dropper seatpost is approximately 1.5 years old, and still works very smoothly.
800mm wide bar with 35mm stem attachment. 50mm stem length (Easton Havoc). ODI Rogue lock on grips.
Older Kona Wah Wah flat pedals, still functional.

The bolt insert on the drive side was recently repaired by Ventana, who did a full frame inspection.

The remainder of the frame is in very good condition, with a few scratches, but no dents or cracks.

The bike is in Redlands, CA. The bike can be picked up in the Redlands area or shipped at buyerʼs additional cost.

The seatpost was inserted by bike shop and is up much higher in the photos than I needed for good leg extension.
