2018 Trek Top Fuel Aluminum Frameset XL

This is an extra large Trek Top Fuel 8 aluminum frameset in excellent condition. Extra large in Trek sizing is 21.5”. It takes 29er wheels, Boost 148 rear spacing, and has 100mm of rear wheel travel. The frame can be adjusted between a “high” and “low” setting via the flip chips at the back of the rocker link, high is a slightly taller BB height and steeper head angle, and vice versa. It is currently set up for 1x drivetrains only. The shift cables and the dropper can all be routed internally, the rear brake is external only. It takes a 31.6mm seatpost and has a tapered steer tube. The rear Fox shock has two compression settings, firm and open. It is not a remote rear shock. And I put some plastic tubes into the main frame as I was removing my cable to make it easier for you to route your cables when you go to build it.

Included with the frame is a headset (complete, carbon spacers and Cane Creek bearings), rear skewer, seat collar, cable routing bits, a spare set of flip chips, and a spare derailleur hanger.

I got it at the end of last summer as a backup bike but then did a lot of traveling this summer and barely got any rides on it. Hence the excellent condition. I did run it with a 120mm fork to try that out, it was fun, though keeping it 100mm would be fast for XC racing and that what the geometry is based on.
