2009 Specialized Grom Hit 24

Roughly 2009 Specialized Grom Hit. Awesome kids bike. Includes a lightweight wheelset for trail riding (Trailcraft wheels, Schwalbe Rocket Ron tires), and heavy duty wheelset for park/DH (Specialized wheels, Specialized Roller tires). The 2 wheelsets make an incredible difference in the setup, the lightweight wheels are very light and roll fast. The park/DH wheels are truely heavy duty (actual bolt on), and in addition to extra grip and durability, add stability for park riding. Both wheelsets are fully setup with rotors, cassette and axles - so you can quickly swap. The SRAM cranks are custom modified (I forget the company) 140mm length, perfect for smaller legs. Brakes are Avid Trail 7 (good ones, they work very well). Drivetrain is SRAM X5 shifter and X7 rear derailleur, setup 1x with a 30t OneUp N/W front ring - with the 24 tires, the setup worked very well. 2 forks are included. The stock fork is a Marzocchi AM SL coil. The fork on the bike is a Fox 32 RLC TALAS - travel adjustable to 130, 110, and 90. The fork does have an oil leak on the damper side, and could use a service - but performs perfectly as is. The rear shock is a X-fusion air - it could also use a rebuild, but it works very well as is. Bars are pink Chromag. Specialized grips, seat, seat post, and pedals. This is truely an awesome bike for kids, really only matched by the new Transition, Trailcraft, Rocky, and Norco 24 bike for kids - and while used, this one offers more flexibility with the 2 wheelset options.
