2018 Pivot Pheonix

Hi There,

I have my 2018 Pivot Pheonix up for sale. I bought the frame by itself and custom built it from the ground up to be my dream DH race bike. I built it up in January and it was exactly that for the season. As far as a DH race bike goes, this is as good as it gets. The bike just feels planted and stable no matter what you throw at it, while still being able to corner on rails. The DW link suspension is truly incredible. The bike is incredibly confidence inspiring and definitely improved my riding. I just gave her a big freshen up and now she's ready to go. Brakes are bled, fork is serviced, new frame bearings are installed, and new chain, cables and housing. The bike has a custom decal kit from Frame Up Bikes in Walnut Creek that definitely makes it stand out. The chrome matches the fork decals nicely and its probably the sickest looking bike on the planet. It might be a little rough around the edges but its a solid machine at heart and still has a lot of life left. The spec is as follows.

Frame - Pivot Pheonix DH Large

Fork - Rockshox Boxxer World Cup RC2 with debonair air spring

Shock - Rockshox Vivid coil

Brakes - SRAM Guide RSC with 200mm rotors front and rear

Shifter/Derailleur - SRAM X01 DH 7 speed

Cranks - SRAM X0 DH 165mm

Chainring - SRAM direct mount 36 tooth

Wheels - Hand Built DT Swiss EX 570s laced to SRAM X0 DH hubs

Tires - Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5 DH casing front and rear 80% tread

Bars - Kyle Straight signature descendant bars cut to 780mm

Stem - Truvative Descendant 40mm

Only thing it could use is new wheel bearings front and rear. Otherwise this is a solid rig ready to make your DH dreams come true. I tried to picture all the cosmetic blemishes on the bike. The scratch on the lower chain stay looks a little gnarly but it is definitely not a crack and this has been confirmed by the local Pivot dealer. Please let me know if you have any questions.
