2008 Jamis Dakota Elite, Medium

This is a lightly customized 2008 Jamis Dakota Elite, a super fast, light hardtail. Awesome bike for a new rider, or if you want a very fast hardtail.

Kinesis Superlight 7005 aluminum frame with carbon seat stays. Original wheels (WTB rims and spokes, Shimano hubs) with Hans Dampf tires, virtually no wear on the tires. I converted the front gears to a single RaceFace 34T cog, works well with the XT 9 speed rear. Fox 32 RL 100mm front fork has good seals that do not leak, lockout works, rebound adjustment works, no bushing play either. Juicy 5 brakes were bled less than a month ago, they work great. New brake pads. Newish Oury grips. Some paint scuffing on the frame, no dents or gouges. Everything works!
