Vintage Mirella road bike- 53cm

Vintage, early 70’s Mirella. Asking $350 obo. This bike was bought in 1971 or so and has had the same owner until I bought it in 2017.

Everything was maintained while it was ridden during the ‘70’s. Since then it was in storage I believe.

The paint has not stood the test of time but has a patina character to it. Some light rust spots on portions of the polished lugs.

Almost all the components are Campagnolo except for the Sugino crankset and Balilla brake calipers.

Campy hubs, skewers, free wheel, BB, headset, downtube shifters, seatpost and Nuovo Record rear derailluer.

It even has these cool scrapers that flick dirt off the tires as they spin around.

I removed the old bar, stem, brake levers and saddle ( see last 3 pics ) to something more modern and comfortable.

Respectively, Nitto Grand Randonneur bars and Origin 8 for stem, levers and saddle. All cables and housing are new as well.

With some time and money, I restored and modernized it into a sweet daily rider; mostly for around town cruising. It is a classy and smooth riding bike. It’s one of my favorites actually, but I have no space to keep extra bikes.

So I'm hoping to find a good home for it! I'm willing to split the shipping cost if you give me a reasonable offer.
