2009 Surly Cross Check

58cm Surly Cross Check. Black 4130 steel. I swapped out the heavy flexy Surly steel fork for an older rigid MTB fork. Riser bars and short stem (notable Easton magnesium jobby) make this a wheelie machine and tons of fun to ride. XT derailleur and 9sp cassette, along with 30t single chainring up front are geared for cruising around Seattle--get up the hills while staying seated and still zip on flats if you want. Redline Flight BMX cranks! Tubeless Shimano cyclocross wheels with new Schwalbe Rocket Rons. BMX brake levers and lil cyclocross v-brakes.
Very comfortable and versatile bike I just don't ride enough. In great shape, dialed for fun right now.
